 Dr. Eric Patrin is a licensed veterinarian in Washington serving our community since 2006.  Dr. Patrin is an experienced veterinarian ready to handle both routine and emergency services. Our veterinary staff is ready to handle preventative care medicine, emergencies, small animal surgery, dental disease management and prevention, and geriatric care. 

 In addition to a great doctor, the entire South Whidbey Animal Clinic team is dedicated to providing every client with top quality and compassionate veterinary services in a professional environment that inspires trust and confidence from its clients.

Upon your visit you will meet a kind; friendly and knowledgeable support staff. Our clinic strives to create a comfortable & calm environment so your pet can relax. 

 SWAC offers high quality care and diagnostics for its patients.  Our clinic offers digital radiography (including digital dental radiography), ultrasound, in-house blood diagnostics, glaucoma testing, pulse oximetry and blood pressure monitoring. 

 We insure your pet gets the highest veterinary care available in addition to providing them a clean, quiet and comfortable place to stay

  • Dr. Patrin, DVM

    Years in Practice: 14

    Education: University of Minnesota, San Diego State University, Iowa State University

    Dr. Patrin is a native of Shelburne, Vermont and followed a winding road to Whidbey Island. He received his B.A in International Relations with a minor in Russian language and literature from the University of Minnesota in 1996.  After a short stint in the 'real world', Dr. Patrin left Minneapolis for San Diego, CA to pursue the biology courses needed for entry into Veterinary school.  After completing a B.S. in Biology from San Diego State University in 2002, he was admitted to Iowa State University's college of Veterinary Medicine.  After graduating from Veterinary school in 2006,  a promising opportunity surfaced in Oak Harbor, WA . 

  • Katie Schork
    Veterinary Technician

    Years in Practice: 9

    Katie has been here at SWAC for 6 years and currently is the lead technician. She grew up on Whidbey Island, and enjoys fishing, camping, and being outdoors. She resides in Clinton with her Beagle, Calvin.

  • Sabra Whitlock
    Veterinary Assistant

    Years in Practice: 5

    Sabra has worked at SWAC for 3 years now as an assistant/technician. She grew up in Edmonds and has worked in the pet industry since 1998. Sabra moved to Whidbey about 8 years ago and has a goal of owning property and horses.

  • Laura Babaidhan
    Practice Manager

    Years in Practice: 4

    Laura has been with South Whidbey Animal Clinic since January 2017.  She is a student at the University of Washington (Go Dawgs!) and mama to two beautiful girls, a goldendoodle named Murph, and their rescue dog, Finn.  What she loves about this practice is the warm, welcoming atmosphere and getting to know our clients and their pets.  She always looks forward to seeing all the familiar faces (and tails) and meeting new ones.  We are here to help!

  • Kelsey Dalton

    Years in Practice: 2

    Kelsey is one of the lovely receptionists here at South Whidbey Animal Clinic. She has lived on Whidbey her entire life; Navy brat! She has a firecracker of a daughter, and a handsome fur baby named Orion. When she is not at work, you can safely assume she is spending time with her family in Oak Harbor, or at home working online to complete her degree in Human Resources through Southern New Hampshire University.  

  • Marissa Conlin
    Veterinary Assistant

    Years in Practice: 2

    Marissa Conlin and her husband moved from Georgia to Whidbey Island in 2013 and have been coming to South Whidbey Animal Clinic for the care of their two dogs; Khali and Diesel. She joined the SWAC Team in March 2018 and loves being able to take care of pets.

  • Rachel Jones
    Veterinary Assistant

    Years in Practice: 1

    Rachel is a Certified Veterinary Assistant here at SWAC. She moved to the island in 2015 while active duty in the Navy as a Corpsman. After completing her five year contract, she chose to go back to her childhood dream of working with animals. Native to Tennessee, she loves hunting, campfires and fishing.

  • Dr. Robert Jung, DVM

    Years in Practice: 12

    South Whidbey Animal Clinic is excited to introduce Dr. Robert Jung to our team!  Dr. Jung is a classmate of mine and a good friend.  He graduated from Iowa State University in 2006, where he was very involved with student clubs and leadership.  We are very excited that Dr. Rob has a special interest in exotic pets such as reptiles and small mammals. In addition to exotics, he has 10 years experience working emergency practice, and many years as a a commissioned officer at Presque Isle Downs race track. Dr. Rob was a competitive swimmer at Luther College, and has been head coach at St. Jude's swim team in Erie, Pa. Rob is an avid biker, swimmer, runner and has competed in The Ironman Triathlon Series. When not at work, Dr. Rob is spending time with his wife Cara, and their three children; Rowan, Stella, and Ryker.  The Jung family is very excited to be here on Whidbey and explore all that the northwest has to offer!
